Our team of experts began the project by working closely with our client to fully understand their unique needs and preferences. We then designed a patio that would complement the surrounding landscape and enhance the overall aesthetics of the property. We selected high-quality sandstone paving stones that would be durable and long-lasting while also providing a beautiful and natural look.

Bristol Block Paved Driveway

At Parkstone Home Improvements, we take pride in our ability to transform outdoor spaces into stunning areas that not only add beauty to your home but also increase its value. Recently, we completed a project that involved replacing an old and tired concrete driveway with a beautiful block paving driveway using sand paving blocks.

Our team started the project by carefully examining the existing driveway to determine the best approach to the installation process. We then removed the old concrete and prepared the area to receive the new blocks. We ensured that the surface was level, smooth and free of any debris that could affect the integrity of the finished product.

Next, we installed a sub-base made of crushed rock and a layer of sharp sand on top to provide a stable foundation for the blocks. We carefully laid the sand paving blocks in a pattern that complemented the existing aesthetics of the property. We used our expertise to ensure that the blocks were laid evenly and tightly, leaving no gaps in between them.

To complete the project, we added a layer of jointing sand between the blocks, which not only provides additional stability to the blocks but also prevents weed growth in the gaps. The final result was a beautiful block paving driveway that significantly improved the curb appeal of the property.
