Recently, we completed a project that involved replacing an old and tired concrete driveway with a beautiful block paving driveway using sand paving blocks.
Our team started the project by carefully examining the existing driveway to determine the best approach to the installation process. We then removed the old concrete and prepared the area to receive the new blocks. We ensured that the surface was level, smooth and free of any debris that could affect the integrity of the finished product.
Next, we installed a sub-base made of crushed rock and a layer of sharp sand on top to provide a stable foundation for the blocks. We carefully laid the sand paving blocks in a pattern that complemented the existing aesthetics of the property. We used our expertise to ensure that the blocks were laid evenly and tightly, leaving no gaps in between them.
To complete the project, we added a layer of jointing sand between the blocks, which not only provides additional stability to the blocks but also prevents weed growth in the gaps. The final result was a beautiful block paving driveway that significantly improved the curb appeal of the property.
